Introduction to Calibration Theory

Introduction to Calibration Theory is a course for those who are looking to take the next step into the world of calibration and metrology. It covers topics from the foundation of the metric and imperial systems, traceability, accuracy, and an entry primer on uncertainty. This course covers a great deal of information in an easy to absorb format. Taking this course will help give you the tools to make more informed decisions in the calibration field. You’ll also learn how to ask the correct questions when redesigning or implementing calibration procedures and when choosing an outsourced calibration laboratory.
Who should attend?
This class is designed for all levels but the people who will be most affected by the information in the class are inspectors, calibration technicians, quality managers, or persons in charge of outsourcing or purchasing measuring equipment.
