Congratulations to the 2020 AGC Houston scholarship recipients!
Unfortunately, the days of COVID-19 forced us to move our annual awards luncheon from May to August, and now to the virtual universe of ZOOM and social media. However, the lack of an in-person celebration does not in any way diminish the excitement and pride the AGC Chapter has for this year’s winners and their families.
If anything, as an organization representing an “essential industry”, times like these create an even greater desire to welcome and celebrate individuals whose career path potentially leads to commercial construction. And rather than me telling you what a great group of scholars are celebrating this year, I would highly recommend you see and read about them here in the latest issue of the Cornerstone magazine.
Lastly, I want to thank all the members who participated in this year’s Patrick J. Kiley Excellence in Leadership Distinguished Speaker’s series. Your support and contributions are what make the Chapter’s scholarship program such a success.
