Did you know that as a 501c3 nonprofit organization, C3 is required to earn money from fundraising? To date, C3 has hosted one annual fundraising event, and it’s a great one! Those who have attended C3’s Annual Golf Classic can attest to the fun networking opportunity the event offers, but what attendees may not be aware of is that all funds raised go back into operational functions at C3. The majority of proceeds are poured back into C3’s Craft Training Endorsement Program, which allows C3 to provide consultation services and offer craft training endorsements at no additional costs to C3 Accredited Employers.
C3’s 11th Annual Golf Classic will be held on Tuesday, October 19th at BlackHorse Golf Club. The event has grown in revenue and size each year since its inception in 2010. The event sold out in 2019, and again in 2020 after moving to a course that offered twice as much capacity and is on target to sell out again this year, with more than 36 teams already registered. The event is being underwritten by D. E. Harvey Builders, McCarthy Building Companies, MAREK, TDIndustries, and Texas Exterior Systems, LLC. Hines and Brookfield Properties will also be represented with teams and will attend our pre-tournament VIP Mixer which will be open to members of the C3 Board of Directors, Project Owners, and Tournament Underwriters.
