A Sustainable Workforce Starts With You

Werner Releases New Litefit™ Safety Harness

Werner has released its newest safety harness, the new LITEFIT™ Plus Concrete Construction Harness, which is designed specifically for the construction worker that performs many physical tasks that go beyond just erecting walls or demolition of old structures.

In the event of a fall arrest, a worker simply pulls the relief handles to get into the “Chair in the Air” position, which helps reduce the potential hazards of suspension trauma. The new Werner LITEFIT™ Plus Concrete Construction Harness design offers 5-point adjustments for optimal fit, lightweight hardware and bright colors for worker visibility.

The new Werner LITEFIT™ Plus Concrete Construction Harness is redesigned with a contoured waist pad and removable tool belt, helping to minimize the additional weight of tools and support workers’ lower backs. Furthermore, the tool belt comprises double-layered webbing and prevents roll down when ladened with loaded, heavy tool pouches.

The Werner LITEFIT™ Plus Concrete Construction Harness also features a twin leg spacer that is pre-installed and is designed to provide a connection point for twin leg self-retracting lifelines (SRL’s) and prevent SRL’s from sliding down the harness webbing. Following installation, the spacer holds the dorsal D-ring in an upright position.

Werner LITEFIT™ Plus Concrete Construction Safety Harnesses are available in four sizes: small, medium/large, extra-large, and extra-extra-large to fit a variety of people. Furthermore, the harnesses are rated for users up to 425 lbs (meets ANSI Z359.11-2021).
