UT&F Joins Forces With LIFT Safety

United Tool and Fastener has joined forces with LIFT Safety, a premium industrial product company that has been creating and redefining safety and personal protective products for more than 20 years.

LIFT Safety offers hard hats, safety eyewear, gloves, knee protection, hi-viz apparal and other accessories including heavy winter jackets.

LIFT Safety representatives showcased some of their various innovative products at the 2022 UT&F One-Day Sales in San Antonio, College Station and Houston.

One new LIFT Safety product on show at the 2022 One-Day Sales was the LIFT RADIX Vented Safety Helmet that is approved for applications including working-at-heights, confined space, heavy industrial, rescue, arborist and general construction and is certified for ANSI Z89.1, TYPE 2, CLASS C and protects from side, front and rear impacts.

The new LIFT RADIX Vented Safety Helmet features a four-point LUX suspension system, guaranteeing a secure fit on the head in addition to a magnetic quick-lock, adjustable chinstrap. Furthermore, it comprises a ventilated outer shell comprising 12 ventilation channels for enhanced air flow for comfort and to protect against an array of impact hazards.

Additionally, the LIFT RADIX Vented Safety Helmet offers an oversized ratcheting fit dial for easy size adjustment while using (or not using) gloves and the exclusive brim grip design offers an extra secure feel. The integrated accessory clips with six external built-in attachment points are compatible with a variety of LIFT products. Lastly, the new LIFT RADIX Vented Safety Helmet comprises a microfiber antimicrobial inner liner to wick moisture and is simple to wash. According to the LIFT website, the LIFT RADIX Vented Safety Helmet has an average lifespan of 3-5 years, depending on the conditions of the work site.

“Hard hats subjected to more wear and tear or used outdoors in direct sunlight may need to be replaced more frequently. Daily inspections are the best way to determine when to replace a hard hat shell, suspension, or the entire unit. Suggested replacement is based on service life (Based on when the hard hat was placed into service, not the manufacture date). As a general guideline we recommend replacing hard hats every 3-5 years regardless of outside appearance, but this can vary due to use and job site conditions,” according to the LIFT Safety website.
