Alpha Shield is Surface Shields’ fire-retardant, fabric-backed poly sheets designed to resist and spread the load of heavy objects and even machinery. Ultimately, Alpha Shield is ultra-heavy-duty floor protection.
The Alpha Shield sheets are 48 inches by 96 inches and comprise support pockets that create high-compression protection allowing objects as large and heavy as machinery to be used on them. The support pockets and thickness of Alpha Shield sheets spread the load of heavy objects across the product, making them durable enough to be driven on by machinery.
The sheets’ fabric-backing prevents scratches and the textured face promotes and enables grip. Furthermore, the Alpha Shield’s special formulation enables it to resist warping in external environments or if exposed to direct sunlight.
