SAN JOSE, Calif. (Month Date, 2025) - The Rosendin Foundation, a dedicated 501(c)(3) non-profit committed to positively impacting communities and empowering individuals, announces its annual grant distribution of $2.5 million to more than 200 nonprofit organizations across the United States. The Rosendin Foundation serves as the philanthropic arm of Rosendin, one of the largest employee-owned electrical contractors in the United States, and its sister company Modular Power Solutions (MPS), a leading provider of modular electrical solutions. The grants will support local nonprofits that focus on programs promoting emotional, nutritional, and occupational health in communities where Rosendin operates.
The Foundation received more than 500 applications from nonprofits nationwide, representing an increase of 65 percent from the 2024 granting cycle. The regional granting committees awarded 200 nonprofits and 13 emergency grants to support community need and impact.. Grant amounts range from small community grants to larger awards of up to $50,000 per organization.
"Supporting local nonprofits allows us to invest directly in the communities to create lasting change and help individuals and families build better futures," said Chandra Stewart, Executive Director of The Rosendin Foundation. "These grants represent our commitment to building stronger communities through partnerships with organizations that share our values of service and empowerment."
Recipients receiving $50,000 grants include: America's Mighty Warriors in Arizona to support veterans and military families; Song for Charliein California to support substance abuse prevention; Assisting Lives in Las Vegas to support families in need; and HomePlate Youth Services in Oregon to support providing food to unhoused youth.

Through our Helping Heroes Heal Program, we get to see him still saving lives and impacting our world,” states Debbie Lee, CEO of America’s Mightiest Warriors. “The Rosendin Foundation’s generous donation will help us continue our mission strong by providing healing therapies that are not only changing our veterans’ lives, but in many circumstances saving their lives. The Rosendin Foundation is a "Force Multiplier" in our mission.”
Additional recipients include Arizona Cancer Foundation for Children, Matthews Free Medical Clinic in North Carolina, Maryland Center for Construction Education and Innovation, Haven Inc. in North Carolina, Rose Haven CIC in Oregon, Ashley's Place (Sumner Child Advocacy Center) in Tennessee, Aspiring Texas Latinos Achieving Success Together (ATLAST) dba LaTiendita, Drive a Senior Central Texas dba Chariot and Northern Virginia Food Rescue. Many of the selected nonprofits serve underrepresented populations and focus on creating pathways to economic opportunity.

This support allows us to rescue and distribute thousands of pounds of fresh, nutritious food to families in Northern Virginia who are facing food insecurity,” said Dr. Megan Franco, Executive Director, Northern Virginia Food Rescue. “NOVA-FR operates a technology-driven logistics network that coordinates volunteers, local farms, restaurants, and grocers to recover and redistribute surplus food across Northern Virginia with the help of philanthropic partners. To date, we have rescued over 36 million pounds of food, prevented food waste, all while nourishing thousands of families weekly.”
The Rosendin Foundation supports its grant recipients through both financial contributions and volunteer engagement from Rosendin employees. Teams across the company's regional offices participate in service projects and fundraising activities that complement the grant funding. This dual approach strengthens relationships between Rosendin and the communities it serves.
Since its formation in 2020, The Rosendin Foundation has distributed over $6.7 million to 496 nonprofit organizations nationwide. The Foundation continues to expand its reach as Rosendin grows, ensuring that charitable giving remains connected to the company's geographic footprint and employee engagement.
