Construction Career Collaborative (C3) offers the construction workforce development professional certificate course developed by National Center for Construction Education & Research (NCCER). The course, focused on preparing individuals to run the training department of an organization or launch a training organization, is a ten-month commitment of up to two days of classwork along with a series of homework and networking activities to be completed outside of class. The course is interactive and taught by leaders in construction training in cooperation with tenured workforce professionals on the C3 staff.
Chamberlin recently awarded nine employees with the NCCER Construction Workforce Development Professional Award. This included: Daniel Burgan, Allen Polasek, Wayne Ferguson, Nelson Duran, Stanley Boysen, Mike Harper, Chris Brown, Mike Kasper and Eddie Silva. This class was comprised of operation managers, field operation managers and project managers. The course will take place again shortly as part of the Chamberlin University Supervisory Program including foremen and superintendents. Upon receiving the certification, candidates will become a mentee.
