ABC Partners with FMI to Provide 1st Annual Houston Technology Conference

HOUSTON - Associated Builders and Contractors of Greater Houston, an association representing the interests of merit shop contractors and their employees, has partnered with FMI to host the first annual Construction Technology and Innovation Conference on Wed., Feb. 5, 2020. Nearly 350 construction industry professionals will gather together for the annual conference that will feature learning sessions, exhibitor displays, and live-tech demonstrations from premier technology solution providers from across the globe.

Vincent Vasquez, CEO of PrecisionStory and one of the keynote speakers at the conference, says the conference will be an excellent opportunity for construction industry professionals to learn about emerging technology trends. “The construction industry represents the next big industry to be impacted by digital disruption,” says Vasquez. “But with such a large array of new products available, it can be difficult to decide which technologies to look at. To help in this process, during my keynote, I’ll share stories about many of the emerging technologies early adopter contractors are utilizing now to improve their businesses.”

During this one-day event, attendees will be inspired to create a culture of innovation, to improve productivity with technology, and to achieve operational excellence in construction. Highlights of the conference include inspirational keynote addresses, multiple learning sessions covering topics such as tech change management, data management, BIM accuracy, and field deployment. Additionally, an exhibitor trade show will be encompassed with the event and will feature the top providers of technology software and solutions.
