HOUSTON – Associated Builders and Contractors of Greater Houston, an association representing the interests of merit shop contractors and their employees, is pleased to announce the recipients of the 2021 Diversity Awards. Recognition was given to these members at the November 12th Membership Breakfast, hosted by ABC Greater Houston’s Diversity and Inclusion Committee.
The Diversity and Inclusion Committee is responsible for evaluating, recommending, and implementing D&I programs and trainings, working with related committees to make D&I an integral part of ABC, informing the membership of D&I developments, and conducting campaigns to increase member awareness of the need to operate in a diverse and inclusive manner.
The winners in the Contractor Over $30 Million Category include Austin Commercial, JE Dunn Construction, Manhattan Construction, and PCL Industrial Construction Company.
The 2021 Diversity Excellence Diamond Award winner in the Contractor Over $30 Million Category is Turner Construction Company.
Supplier and Associate Category 2021 Diversity Excellence Diamond Award Winner is Adaptive Construction Solutions.
These member companies were evaluated on their diversity and inclusion strategy, training, and awareness-raising programs, as well as the company’s hiring, retention, and promotion rates as related to the company’s diversity demographics. ABC Greater Houston members go above and beyond to include diversity and inclusion practices within their organizations, and ABC Greater Houston is honored to recognize their accomplishments.
