If you could ask four of the top developers in the United States any question about their business, what would you ask? That is what I get to do on Tuesday, April 2, 2013.
The Houston/Texas Gulf Coast Chapter of the Society of Industrial and Office Realtors (SIOR) is hosting its 30th Annual Commercial Expo at the Westin Galleria Hotel in Houston. I will be moderating the keynote session themed around “Developing Houston 2013” featuring a panel of outstanding developers.
The developers on the panel represent local, national and international firms. Two of the four panelists have a long history of working in the Houston market and have seen the last four or five cycles. The other two are recent arrivals to the market but have already established their projects as market movers.
SIOR is an international association of commercial and industrial real estate professionals with over 3,200 members in 590 cities and 25 countries around the world. The Houston/Gulf Coast Chapter is the largest in the US.

Please mark your calendar and plan to join SIOR at the 2013 Commercial Expo on Tuesday, April 2. The Developing Houston 2013 event will start at 3:30 pm at the Westin Galleria Hotel, located in the Galleria on West Alabama. SIOR has hosted this event since 1983 and it has been a great opportunity to connect with Houstons real estate leaders and learn more about the most recent industry trends. The format for 2013 will feature a panel discussion on Developing Houston 2013. Our distinguished panel members will provide their take on what is driving the most dynamic real estate market in the nation. You will hear from the some of the most successful and highly respected developers in Houston including David Hightower with Wolff Companies, Paul H. Layne with The Howard Hughes Corporation, Michael Mair with Skanska and Keith Simon with Coventry Development Company, Inc. In addition, please plan to stay after the presentation for the Commercial Expo which will feature exciting new developments across our market.
