Jim Stevenson, a long-time Houston construction leader, joined McCarthy Building Companies, Inc in July 2012. Jim has more than 30 years of construction industry experience, including experience in markets such as Healthcare, Education and Commercial.Prior to joining McCarthy, Jim served as CEO of Houston-based W.S. Bellows Construction Corp., one of the region’s leading builders. Jim began as a project manager, working his way up to vice president and finally CEO in 2007.In addition, Jim is an Associated General Contractors (AGC) Houston board member. He is currently serving as the 2011/2012 AGC Houston chairman of the board. He is also leading an important Houston industry initiative called the Construction Career Collaborative (C³) for a sustainable craft workforce, and has been doing so since 2009.
