Mike Chatron Retiring from AGC Texas Building Branch, Celebration Coming Up in His Honor

One of the key players in representing the construction industry in Texas is calling it a career this year and a big celebration is planned next month.

Mike Chatron has been with the AGC Texas Building Branch for a quarter century and earlier this year announced his retirement from lobbying on behalf of the industry at the Texas Capitol.

"Mike Chatron has poured a good chunk of his life into helping AGC and the Texas commercial building industry. And he's done it with excellence, class, and respect," said Corbin Van Arsdale, President and General Counself of AGC-TBB.

"It has been an honor and a true joy to work with him,” Van Arsdale said.

Chatron, who worked with the group for 25 years, spent the last decade of that as the organization's president and is a familiar face to construction firm CEOs around the state.

The celebration for Chatron will be Thursday, Nov. 15, 2018 from 5:00 - 7:30 p.m. at the Sheraton Hotel in Georgetown. Here’s the information to RSVP and reserve a room.
